Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

R&S Manchester Concrete Construction, manchesterconcreteconstruction.com, office@manchesterconcreteconstruction.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and the estimates and work you get from R&S Manchester Concrete Construction, a concrete contractor in Manchester, NH. In these terms, "we," "us" and "our" mean R&S Manchester Concrete Construction, and "you" means the person using the site or hiring us.

By browsing the site, starting at our home page or anywhere else, or by asking us for an estimate, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. When you sign a written estimate or contract with us for a job, that document controls wherever it differs from these terms.

What we do and what this site is for

We build and repair concrete flatwork, which covers driveways, patios, sidewalks and garage floors, along with steps, walls, footings and foundations. You can read more about who we are on our About page.

The pages on this site explain the work in general terms so you know what to expect. They aren't a quote, a design or advice for your particular property. Your job's exact scope, materials and schedule are the ones written in your estimate or contract.

Estimates and pricing

Estimates are free and done at your property, and there's no pressure to book. We price the job from what we can see and measure on that visit, so your estimate states what it includes and how long the price holds.

Some things only show up once the old slab is out or the ground is dug, such as soft or wet soil under the subgrade, which is the ground the new slab sits on, buried debris, old footings or rock. If we find something like that and it changes the work or the price, we'll stop, show you, and get your OK before we do the extra work.

If you ask for changes after the estimate is signed, such as a bigger area, a different finish or added steel, we'll write up the change and its cost for you to approve first.

Scheduling, weather and cancellations

Concrete depends on the weather, so we may move a pour if rain, cold or heat would hurt the finished slab. We'll tell you as soon as we know and give you the next date we can do it right.

New concrete needs time to cure, which means it has to sit and harden before it can take weight. We'll tell you when it's safe to walk on and drive on, and damage from using it sooner isn't our responsibility.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us as early as you can. If we've already ordered concrete or materials or started work, you may owe for those costs as your contract states.

Payment

Your estimate or contract sets the payment amounts, when each one is due and how you can pay. Please don't pay anyone who claims to act for us without checking with us first.

If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's settled, and we keep the rights New Hampshire law gives a contractor who hasn't been paid for completed work.

What we need from you

Please give our crew clear access to the work area and tell us about anything underground we can't see, such as sprinkler lines, pet fences, septic parts or private wiring. You're responsible for knowing where your property lines are.

Some concrete jobs need a permit and some don't. Your contract says who handles it, and if you're unsure whether your job needs one, your city's building department can tell you.

Warranties and what concrete normally does

Any warranty on our work is the one written in your contract, and it covers only what that document says. Your satisfaction matters to us, so if something about the work isn't right, call us and we'll look at it.

Concrete can develop hairline cracks as it shrinks and as the ground moves through the seasons. We cut control joints, which are planned grooves that give those cracks a place to run, but they can't stop every crack. Small cracks, slight color differences between pours and wear from deicing salt or heavy equipment are normal for concrete and aren't defects.

The website itself is provided as is. We try to keep it accurate, but we don't promise that every page is complete, current or free of errors.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of your driveway, lost income or damage caused by the conduct of others or by ground movement we couldn't have known about. Our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

We aren't liable for any decision you make based only on the general information on this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that New Hampshire law says can't be limited.

Settling a disagreement

If you have a problem with our work or a bill, call us first at (603) 314-3764. Most issues get settled with a visit and a straight conversation, and we'd rather fix it than argue about it.

If we can't work it out together, either of us may bring the matter to a court in New Hampshire that has jurisdiction over it.

Governing law

These terms and any job we do are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire. If we do work in another state and that state's law requires something different for that job, its law applies where it must.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time and will post the new version on this page. The version in effect when you sign your contract applies to that job, and using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
